The Label Behind the Light
Illuminati, Inc. is not a traditional record label. It is a creative order—a modern sanctuary for artists who create not by formula, but by instinct, vision, and the kind of intuition that can't be taught.
Founded by R&B/pop innovator Kevin Engels, Illuminati, Inc. was built on the belief that the strongest art doesn't come from boardrooms or industry blueprints. It comes from the moments of "illumination"—the sudden spark, the late-night idea, the sound that appears seemingly out of nowhere and refuses to be ignored.
While the name nods to the centuries-old mythology of hidden knowledge and unseen influence, Illuminati, Inc. reshapes that myth into something new: a symbol for creative freedom, artistic sovereignty, and the power of ideas that refuse to stay in the dark.
Illuminati, Inc. operates on three core principles:
Music begins with the spark—raw, unfiltered, instinctual. Illuminati, Inc. exists to protect that spark until it becomes something powerful enough to guide itself.
The unknown has always drawn humanity in. Instead of sterilizing the creative process, the label embraces it—letting curiosity, symbolism, and atmosphere become part of the artistic experience.
By owning his sound, his vision, and his narrative, Kevin Engels built a world without waiting for permission. Illuminati, Inc. extends that empowerment outward, inviting others to build worlds of their own.
Illuminati, Inc. uses a codex of geometric and abstract symbols—marks representing the creative states artists move through:
light, shadow, ascent, resonance, discovery.
Every symbol has meaning.
None are explained outright.
Interpretation is part of the art.
Illuminati, Inc. aims to:
Break industry patterns, not follow them
Craft immersive artist worlds, not cookie-cutter brands
Embrace myth and mystery, not erase them
Champion independence as power, not risk
Create music that feels like a signal, not a product
It is a label for the artists who don't just want to be heard—
they want to be decoded.
Though privately founded and intentionally immersive, Illuminati, Inc. has quickly become a quiet force—its projects generating viral attention, deep fan theories, and a cult-level curiosity that spreads with each release.
Its artists don't chase the spotlight.
They control it, shape it, bend it, and when necessary—
turn it off completely.
To some, Illuminati, Inc. is a label.
To others, it's a story, a symbol, a message, or a doorway into something they can't quite name.
Kevin Engels simply calls it:
"The place where ideas go to reveal themselves."
The rest is for the world to interpret.
